I am repulsed by politics.
I am repulsed by mudslinging.
I am repulsed by the way that Christians are talking about anyone, regardless of which political party they associate themselves with. Yes, there are things others believe in that are morally wrong, but that is no reason to attack their personal character along with everything else under the sun.
I am repulsed that anyone thinks it's okay to murder babies.
I am repulsed that anyone would assume everyone on welfare is lazy and avoiding work.
I am repulsed that anyone would vote for anyone based on the color of their skin.
I am repulsed that anyone would vote for anyone else because of the political party they are tied to and that alone.
I am repulsed that we are in the economic pit that we are in.
I am repulsed that there are fingers pointing at everyone except people that borrowed to much money, and now we're all paying for it.
I am repulsed that I see oil rigs when I go to my beloved beach, but we are fighting oil rigs in Alaska because a polar bear might just be offended.
I am thankful that my Jesus has the entire situation in the palm of his hand.
I am thankful that God has already appointed the man that will lead this country for the next four years and regardless of who it is, I will respect him and pray for him on a regular basis.
I am thankful that there are others who are as disgusted by this entire process as I am, and maybe, just maybe things will go my way one day.

We can only hope. This always going the other person's way is getting pretty doggone old!
